Wainwright's Coast to Coast

Coast to coast.jpg
We are lucky to be located right on Wainwright’s famous Coast to Coast walk.

The Coast to Coast passes through three of England’s National Parks; the Lake District National Park, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and the North York Moors National Park.

Originally described in Alfred Wainwright’s 1973 book A Coast to Coast walk, the route has been revised a number of times. The route is described in 12 stages, with each ending with a night’s stay in local accommodation. We are proud to be the most local option for a stay in Ingleby Cross.
