Wainwright’s famous 'Coast to Coast' walk passes right by the front door of the Blue Bell Inn. We are even mentioned in Wainwright's book, making our pub an excellent place to stop for a refreshing pint, or an overnight stay.

The Blue Bell Inn at Ingleby Cross is conveniently located approximately 10 miles south of Teesside on the fringe of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and nestling in the Cleveland Hills. Ingleby Cross is located close to where the A19 and A172 Stokesley road merge and hence is very convenient to get to from all directions. Just turn into the village from the A172 and you will find the Blue Bell at the main village crossroads.

Nestling at the foot of the picturesque Cleveland Hills, on the fringe of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. We are also close to Herriot Country, Thirsk, Northallerton, the East Coast (Whitby, Saltburn) and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The historic and picturesque city of York with its famous York Minster is within an hour’s drive

As you’d expect from a traditional ‘free house’ establishment, the Blue Bell Inn is family run by brother and sister Christopher & Samantha with help from their parents, Dave and Sue, who are always available to make sure your stay, no matter how long or short, is a fulfilling and pleasant one. A warm welcome always awaits you at the Blue Bell Inn, Ingleby Cross, where you are only a stranger once.
